M & DDL A.G.M. Season 2010/2011
Held at Cockenzie & Port Seton British Legion 09/08/2010 at 19:00hrs.
· The roll-call showed that all teams from last season were present.
· The chairman opened the meeting and read the minutes from the previous 2009 A.G.M. These were passed and seconded as true & correct.
· The treasurer gave his report; as he was away most of the season he delegated the treasurer’s job to P.Clark. There was a surplus of £1345.08, cash in hand. It was decided that this money will be spent on renewing the trophies that are not sponsored.
· The election of officials resulted in a staus quo for Chairman: E.Combe, Treasurer: Gordon McLeod & Secretary: Mike Burgess. P.Clark & V.McMillan are committee members.
· Three new teams put forward letters to join league: Wallyford B, Ship Inn & Wemyss Hotel. All these teams were accepted. With the complement of the League up to 16, it was decided to have two leagues, A & B. There will only be one competition set-up, not separate A league B league competitions.
· A new set of rules for the League & formats of competitions were discussed and voted on at the meeting and they were passed after discussion. These will be distributed to all teams.
· Cockenzie Legion were the only bidders for the finals, with a £325 per competition bid.
· Fees are same as last year.
· September weekend and Xmas and New Year will be kept free of darts, this season, as there are fewer fixtures with the two league format.
· Which teams play in the A & B Leagues will be decided by the Executive Committee, after scrutiny of signing-on sheets.
· Next meeting at Burgh Bar at 7:30pm. Bring registration forms and £20 for League Team Registration, £20 for League Cup entry & £20 for the League Fours.
